Full Two-Storey Coastal Renovation & Extension
Located in the heart of Narrawallee, this project involved the complete transformation of an original two-storey coastal home, carefully balancing contemporary living with the character and charm of the existing residence.
Originally configured as two separate dwellings, one of the key objectives was to create a cohesive family home. A custom internal staircase was designed and constructed to seamlessly connect the two levels, becoming a standout architectural feature rather than simply a functional element. The staircase incorporates a built-in bench seat within the upstairs balustrading, adding both practicality and a unique design feature that complements the home’s coastal aesthetic.
The renovation also included a substantial extension, adding two new bedrooms and two beautifully appointed bathrooms while reconfiguring the layout to improve functionality and flow. Every space throughout the home was thoughtfully renovated with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship, timeless finishes and practical family living.
Externally, both the front and rear of the property underwent complete facelifts, significantly enhancing the home’s street appeal and outdoor entertaining spaces while preserving the original coastal character that makes the home so distinctive.
