Today, the business proudly services the South Coast, working with local suppliers and trades to deliver projects that reflect coastal living and exceptional craftsmanship.

At Flynn Built, we’re passionate about creating high-quality homes and renovations that truly reflect the way you live. Based on the NSW South Coast, we specialise in residential building projects including kitchens, bathrooms, extensions, garage conversions, decks, pergolas, and bespoke carpentry.
Founded by James Flynn, Flynn Built combines over 10 years of industry experience with a personal, hands-on approach. Originally from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, James relocated to the South Coast to bring his skills and expertise to the local community. Since then, Flynn Built has become known for reliable service, clear communication, and a strong commitment to workmanship.
We pride ourselves on managing projects from start to finish with honesty, attention to detail, and a focus on creating spaces that add long-term value to your home. Whether it’s a small upgrade or a large-scale renovation, our goal is to make the process smooth, stress-free, and enjoyable for every client.
Outside of building, James enjoys the coastal lifestyle with his partner and their Australian Shepherd, Phoenix – and it’s that same love of the area that inspires the work we do in every home.
